Metaphysical autobiography of Q. Dean Sloan

On the night of April 13, 1974 I had the karmic fortune of experiencing the natural uprising of “kundilini” (Sanskrit word for energy that lies dormant in the “chakra” at the base of the spine). I was sitting in my living room reading a book, and suddenly felt a pleasant intensification of energy. The energy quickly increased in magnitude and rose up my spine in the manner of a divine flood to my head, and at the same time I began hearing the “OM” being sounded forth by the “Cosmic Logos;” the enormity of the sound was such that, as far as I could tell, it filled the whole universe. I consciously experienced the divine nature (within everyone) of my multi-dimensional higher self in the 5th dimension (heaven world), and realized that my consciousness was immersed within the consciousness of the One sounding the OM. The ensuing mystical experience was extremely divine, enlightening, and wonderfully long. I experienced clairaudience of the 5th dimension and the essence of the Biblical statement "in Him we live and move and have our being." I was in a state of ecstasy/bliss, but with a sharpness and clarity of intellect that is impossible to describe. I had partial etheric & astral vision, and saw a lavender/rose colored haze, the movement of which was barely perceptible. There was instant recognition and memory of having already experienced this before this lifetime, which was extremely empowering to say the least. An expansion of consciousness occurred that enabled me to understand many things that I couldn’t before. The peak experience lasted for about an hour before it began to subside. It diminished imperceptibly, and about six hours later I could still hear the OM and feel the divine energy of the 5th dimension. I was in a very heightened state of awareness, and didn’t go to bed until the following evening. I was 35 years old then and had never heard of kundilini or the Cosmic Logos (in this lifetime that is).

I spent a year with Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass as a guide before synchronistically stumbling across The Secret Doctrine by H. P. Blavatsky, which contained knowledge of the human aura and kundilini, and at the same time found A Treatise on Cosmic Fire by Alice A. Bailey (amanuensis for the Tibetan, Djwhal Khul). I intuitively knew that I had spent some time with DK in a former life, and have recalled some good memories as well as one unpleasant memory related to another disciple at a Monastery in Shigatse.

I have studied theosophical metaphysics for 30 years, and the accumulated knowledge enabled me to intuit the answer in the paper that I wrote in response to Dr. Edgar Mitchell’s paper.

My book, Creation & Metempsychosis (Evolution of the Soul), is a compilation of theosophical metaphysics that provides the technical metaphysical rationale for Creation itself, as well as Creation of the human soul ("crown chakra") and is based on the psychology of the 7 rays. The “petals” in the crown chakra unfold slowly over a long series of lives, and every soul achieves relative perfection when they have completely unfolded. The majority of people are unaware of the underlying metaphysics that are the foundation of all religions, and the Catholic See in Rome, with its superficial pontification, is responsible for much of the erroneous, theological dogma that has kept the major religions from uniting and making progress. The inculcation of exoteric (literal) theological doctrines upon Christians and Catholics over the centuries  has prevented them from realizing that the dogma of one life to live with an only begotten Son/world-savior who will release them from their karmic obligations is bogus theology that ignores the root basis for our individual existence, i.e., the "crown chakra" in the human aura or etheric causal field (spiritual body).

The wild Lorikeets (parrot family) have become very friendly. The photos below were taken by my wife, Jan, on February 26, 2008 in our back yard in Burnett Heads, Queensland Australia.

I've had a bird feeder attached to a tree branch near by for over 3 years, and recently decided to use the dish to see if they would come to me and, as you can see, no worry's mate. They frequently land on either my shoulders or the top of my head, and I have to raise my left hand up to them slowly in order to transfer them to my fingers, so I can lower them to the dish. The one in my left hand in the photo below had landed on my right shoulder. The two on the dish are the leaders of the group. The reason I'm smiling is due to the fact that when I moved the one in my hand closer to the dish so he could get some seeds, the Lorikeet in the middle pecked at him, and I had just moved him back when the picture was taken. The rest of the flock can't have any until the leaders have had their fill, so now I put extra seed in dishes on the ground so the rest can join in.

The Lorikeet looking at me below was the one in my hand that I moved forward to the dish for seed, but then pulled him back to safety from the bully on the dish. He thought the world of me after that and landed on my forearm once as I was walking to the garage. I had to stop at the door, turn sidewise and lift my arm in the direction of the birdfeeder for him to fly off. I'm standing only a couple of feet away in 2 of the the last 3 photos posted here that I took after Jan went into the house.
